This established and highly respected competition, established with the committed support of leading industry names and companies, has appointed Sponsorship by Design to identify a commercial sponsor to ensure the future development of the competition from 2007 and beyond. Established in 2002 by Kaos Films and with many leading industry players on the judging panel, the BSSC is widely recognised as the most prestigious short screenplay competition in the world. It is the only such international competition which guarantees to produce the winning entry.
